Happy 4th of July 2026!
Celebrating Arizona's Seniors and Veterans
⛳ Golf Tournament Recap
What an incredible day of golf and friendship at Augusta Ranch Golf Club! Our 2nd Annual Charity Golf Scramble was a tremendous success, bringing together generous supporters, local businesses, and community champions all united for one powerful cause — our seniors and veterans.
Held at a beautiful Mesa golf course under sunny Arizona skies, the event drew players of all skill levels who came ready to have fun and make a difference. From the first tee to the 18th hole, the spirit of giving was alive in every swing.
🙏 Thank you to every player, partner, and volunteer who made this day unforgettable. Your generosity directly funds programs that change lives right here in Mesa.
Our Mission: Bridging the Gap for Seniors and Veterans
In Mesa, and all around Arizona, thousands of seniors and veterans face a quiet crisis — not one that makes headlines, but one that unfolds in empty living rooms, missed meals, and unanswered calls for help. The gap between the services that exist and the seniors who need them is wider than most people realize.
Bridging the Gap for Seniors was born from a simple but powerful belief: no senior should feel forgotten, and no veteran should face their golden years alone. We connect seniors and vets with resources, community, private care, help make their home safer, and the human connection that makes life worth living.
From in home private care, transportation assistance, wellness check-ins, home safety reviews, to social events and emergency support, we show up — every single day — for the people who gave so much to build this community... whenever and wherever we can...let's partner up!
Every senior deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported. That's not just our mission — it's our promise.

A Story of Hope: Meet Dorothy (not real name)
How One Connection Changed Everything
Dorothy, Arizona resident & Bridging the Gap community member
Dorothy, 78, had lived alone in her Arizona home for three years after losing her husband. Her children lived out of state, and slowly, the world outside her front door began to feel unreachable. Doctor appointments became overwhelming to track, and confusing at times. Groceries piled up in her mind as worries she couldn't solve alone.
Then a neighbor mentioned Bridging the Gap. Within a week, Dorothy had a meeting to discuss what she needed to thrive in her home, complete prescription review, care giver for her appointments, a weekly wellness call, and an invitation to a community lunch where she met five women who would become her closest friends.
"I didn't realize how alone I had become," Dorothy told us. "Now I have people who check on me, laugh with me, and remind me that I still matter, and can THRIVE again!! That means everything."
